She keeps her emotions inside and after her best friend died a few weeks ago, she has been suffering in silence. Glyn is also an artist, though she always felt like she didn’t add up. Her mother is a famous artist and her brothers Brandon and Landon are both artists as well, the latter being a sociopath like their Grandfather Jonathon and Uncle Aiden King. Glyn grew up in a family of sociopaths and artists. The heroine: Glyndon King – she is British and daughter to Levi and Astrid King. The worst part is that no one sees his devil side.Ĭhock full of second generation alpha anti-hero goodness! He’s cold-blooded, manipulative, and savage. Let’s remember the unconditional love our own parents showed us and on days when our parents issues may be driving us mad, we can treat them with dignity as we remember – I’ll love you forever. The final scene of the book depicts the son holding his own newborn baby and singing those words of unconditional love, now with even deeper emotion.Īs many of us enter the “sandwich” years where we are caring for our elderly parents as well as our children. As long as I’m living my mother you’ll be. The son takes his elderly mother in his arms and sings- I’ll love you forever. In the book, the mother is stressed by the behavior of the son, but still. She becomes too weak to sing those words to her now grown son. The love that a parent has for a child is an unrestricted love that never falters. The focus of the book then turns to the aging mother. As the son grows and often drives his mother crazy each night she still tucks him into bed and sings those familiar words. ![]() She cradles him in her arms and sings- I’ll love you forever. With the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, prices for the original covers (especially hardbacks) skyrocketed to prices of $50 and above. all matching hardcovers or paperbacks), I would recommend starting to buy the hardbacks (or paperbacks!) of the current covers now.
